Danah Denice is a 26 year-old singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Stevensville, MD. She’s been publicly playing music and creating visual art for the last seven years, with music as her sole source of income.
As a survivor of domestic abuse and sexual assault, her primary focus has been self-healing through both art and song, in addition to learning about and utilizing both Eastern and Western therapy modalities. Unfortunately, it has been very difficult for her to find affordable and effective care, and knows full well that the search can feel endless and disheartening. She firmly believes that ALL women — regardless of race, financial status, gender identity, etc. — deserve access to free and low-cost healing, which is why she has helped kickstart The Songbird Collective.
